Arts Of Kenmore: Come As You Art Free Community Art Event

Join us at The Hangar on January 13th from 6–8 PM for our first community art class of the year, where we’re blending the joyful spirit of Alexander Calder’s kinetic sculptures with the power of New Year intentions.

Sharon will start us off with a light, lively intro to Calder—how he played with balance, motion, and pure imagination. Then we’ll turn inward for a moment, jot down our hopes for the year ahead, and transform them into colorful, kinetic sculptures that dance, twirl, and remind us what we’re leaning into for 2026.

Think of it as intention-setting… with wire, whimsy, and a little physics thrown in for good measure.

What to bring:
A pair of needle-nosed pliers and your playful spirit.

What you’ll leave with:
A one-of-a-kind kinetic sculpture ready to hang—and a reminder that your intentions deserve to move with you.
