DESCRIPTION:Call Description\nThe Arts of Kenmore is pleased to offer the 2026 Kenmore Art Show.  The 2026 theme is Togetherness.  We are excited to bring artists and the community together to enjoy Photography\, 2D\, and 3D Artwork at Kenmore City Hall. We are excited to add a new category: The Little Gallery\, showcasing small 2D artwork priced at $265 or less. August 14-16 & 20-23\, 2026. Kenmore City Hall is located at 18120 68th AVE NE\, Kenmore\, WA 98028. \nAwards: Each category will have 1st ($200)\, 2nd ($150) and 3rd ($100) prizes.  There will also be a Best in Show ($300)\, People’s Choice ($200) and Mayor’s Purchase Award. (Art must arrive on time and be on display for the duration of the show to receive an award.) \nKenmore Art Show (KAS) will feature four categories this year. \n\n2D Artwork will include paintings\, drawings\, collages\, scratch boards\, prints\, mixed media\, etc. Giclee prints are not accepted. Gallery-wrap canvas must have edges finished (painted) and dry.\nThe Little Gallery will include small works of 2D artwork\, as described above\, with a maximum price of $265 and a reduced size\, as described in the rules.  This is the only category with a price requirement.  Artists may choose any price outside this category.\nPhotography may be black & white\, monochrome or color.  The image must be made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or captured digitally. All elements must be original and may not incorporate elements produced by anyone else.  The photograph must represent a single image. Digital applications may be applied but not to the extent that the original appearance is drastically altered. Please identify the image source (film or digital).\n3D Artwork may be created in any medium; metal\, ceramic\, glass\, wood\, paper\, mixed\, etc.  The minimum size is 6″ X 6″ X 6″. The maximum dimensions are 30″ X 30″ X 30″. If entries exceed 50 pounds\, the artist must place\, remove and provide proper pedestals. Any applied paint must be fully dry.\n\n\n\nApplication Requirements\nEntries and Fees \nOnly online entries using CaFE will be accepted. Up to 2 pieces of art may be entered per category. Both pieces should be uploaded in the same session. If entering in more than one category\, you must have a unique artist login for each category. Entry deadline is June 24th. \nEntry fees: $25 for the 1st art work/piece/image uploaded (in a category) to be juried as a single art work\, and $15 for the 2nd piece\, in the same category. The fireworks show is 20 minutes. \nSkip the Traffic—Shuttle\, Walk\, or Bike to Kenmore’s 4th of July Celebration!: \nThe City of Kenmore invites you to an unforgettable night of family fun\, food trucks\, live music\, games\, and fireworks at Log Boom Park! Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m.\, with the fireworks show lighting up the sky at 10 p.m. \nGetting there is easy: \n\nFree shuttle service runs from the Kenmore Park & Ride (7346 NE Bothell Way) to Log Boom Park starting at 6:00 p.m. until the end of the event. *After the event\, practice patience as the shuttles move from NE 175th Street to the Kenmore Park & Ride*\nADA-accessible shuttles are available; please note\, no onsite ADA parking will be provided.\nLimited overflow parking is available at The Vine Church (shuttle does not stop there).\nExpect street closures on Bothell Way NE and 61st Ave NE beginning at 3:00 p.m.\nLimited parking is available on the north side of NE 175th St.\nNo parking or drop-offs along Bothell Way NE.\n\n*NOTE: The 61st Ave NE hill by Log Boom Park will be closed 1pm- 11pm.
