With summer settling in, this is the season to take fitness outside. The Burke Gilman bike trail runs straight through Kenmore, linking miles of car free riding along the water.
On foot, Saint Edward State Park and Log Boom Park both open onto Lake Washington, with wide paths and waterfront views built right into the route. (See more Kenmore parks and trails )
Prefer to be on the water instead of beside it? Kenmore Waterfront Activities Center puts kayaks, paddleboards, and dragon boats within reach, right where the Sammamish River meets the lake.
